Eh....I don't like sending overseas if I want to get something back. I don't trust the mailing services outside the US. I've already had my favorite chopper out for almost a month letting a few guys try it out...the void is killing me!!! I think I'll be holding on tight for a while :p. I don't think it would wreck your MOASH at all....you'd just have to straighten the edge out and do some smoothing out. I think. Dunno as I've never done it. David Brown chopped a 440C (I think) Dorkops in half with a AK and it looked alright. Just some minor edge repair.

To be honest, there's a lot of knives a Busse could chop in half but I still like to use a few of them! I love my Cold Steel 6'' Vaquero!

I don't want to quote a private email, but the jist of what he told me is that they don't want to speak ill of any other company. It is not in their interest to discredit other makers.

I havent seen exactly what the test actually consists of, so could you please tell me the test you run, I'd like to reproduce and video tape the test between three or four subject knives, and have no problem taking them to total destruction, so post what the test need to be.

KAAK, easy on the referee whistle. We are adults and I haven't seen anything uncivil in the thread. Maybe some fell in love with this forum primarily because of the comraderie, drinking and avatars with women who have amazing racks. I love it here because of all that AND I always learn from others about knives, metalurgy and personal experiences and threads like this bring some of that out. It is a fine line I will admit it CAN turn ugly but wait for that to become more apparent before blowing the whistle and hijacking what is NOT an unreasonable thread. I think a new-comer to the forum can handle this type of discussion. Seriously, there are enough circumstances in life where we must tread lightly such as in a corporate PC culture, I think the strong personalities here can handle someone saying they don't agree and stating why. Just my 2 cents.

They tested knives in sizes comparable to those of their own models. Feel free to reproduce. I'd love to see that video, regardless of the results :D

That is complete and utter bull$h1t! You've never had Coors..... Everybody knows that we are NOT worthy to drink from the Coors Fountain. I was told that is for Amy-O only.

Perhaps he should have thought of that before he posted this pile,

"We tested the INFI steel quite many years ago with regards to the bending strength and, compared to the VG10 steel, it was much weaker. By then we were interested in distributing that brand on the Swedish market but after the test, these plans were cancelled.
