Is the bottom one tan or green canvas?
I think I want a green canvas, but I can’t find a good pic of one.

If only there was a choil-less option. For me it would make an already great knife into a grail knife. One can dream :)

TOTALLY agree!!!

Why would you want choil-less??

On a mid-size knife I have no need or want to choke up onto a choil.
I like to hold the contoured scales and not bare metal when making cuts.
I like the edge as close to the handle as possible.
The exception....Choils on knives with blades 8" to around 11" are very useful in that they alter the balance from a blade heavy chopper to a more neutral balance for finer detail work and control.

YMMV

:)
I very much agree! In my opinion, a large choil on a smaller knife is unneeded and is a waste of space - I would MUCH prefer to have an extra 3/4"-7/8" more cutting edge.

Anyone know if this will take the same kydex sheath as a regular ratmandu? Either way in for satin and maroon canvas.
