I think I would be a fan of that. I wouldn't mind a little more traction on the canvas. And it looks pretty good, too.
 
I would be a fan I think. I opt for the canvas handles because my impression is that the G10 handles are slippery. I think I'd prefer the G10 if there was more traction.

I'd dearly love to try the micro-textured handles. When I think of an innovation that really suits what I like, that's it right there. I'm awfully picky about handle scales, shape, and traction, so this really interests me!
 
I'm enamored with watching Survive! right now. Guy's complete dedication and continual innovation in search of perfecting every element of his hardware is fascinating to watch. I've combed through this forum and other social media venues getting up to speed on the company and the evolution of the product over such a short period of time is remarkable to observe.

Folks with the same mindset as Guy are responsible for iPhones, Tesla autos and the West Coast offense. Keep it up Survive!
 
Micro texture would definitely be my preference, if/when available. I'm figuring I'm probably going to texture my G10 scales a bit. Or at least rough them up. I have used 80 grit sandpaper successfully in the past with BRKT G10 to make them more grippy. Just lightly sanding the surface; not changing the shape. It works pretty well.
 
That orange G10, now that looks sweet with the texture. I would definitely like to try that with some G10.

I bead-blasted a BRKT Gunny canvas micarta handle and was much more pleased with it. It would be a lot easier to do with the S!K as you can remove the scales.
 
some how the new orange g-10 with texture looks even more rich, i'd love to give those bad boys a try. I wonder if they are sandblasted or "peened"
 
I was wondering the same thing! If they have the machine set up for blades, why couldn't it work on handles?

Guy can put his peen all over my knife. Handle, blade, the more peen the better!

Wow. From the pictures, these just look so much more appealing to me. I don't have to get a trial set, just bill me now for some g10!
 
Yeah that textured orange g10 does it for me. I'll have to get some for the 4.7.
