Got any good photos of knife or W&SS related injuries?

Post em here...

Rick

My fault for having a messy shop. I "Deli-sliced" my knuckle while reaching across my cluttered work bench. In true W&SS spirit I took pics before bandaging up.

Anyone for a "hand sandwich"?...

You call that lil scratch an injury! Your man stock just fell 10 points!

Man ... you gotta warn people before tossing up pics like that! Yikes. How's your hand now?

mmmmm nuthin like a good hot hand n cheese samich:D But really, that's almost not worth reporting;) If that's the worst you've got you're probably pretty smart with the way you work getting only the occasional nick's and scratches that just happen. Just a buyer's injury indicates he may want to consider another profession:p

LOL.... trying to drill a handle off blade not in vise:

That's a pretty nice wound there Justabuyer. Ever thought about not playin with sharp objects or power tools?:p

I'm prolly gonna lose a hand now for jabbin atchya:D

OMG ... how's your hand today, was there any permanent nerve damage ?

Hand works 100 percent. Had a good doc. yeap some nerve damage in the meat that the knife peeled back. 50 stitches ( a few internal ones) Lots of blood. LOL stung just a bit when the Local anesthetic wore off.

Not all bad though.... If I close my eyes I can pretend it is somebody elses hand doing it.

Anyways heres my contribution to the thread...

Sliced my finger open with my TAK, cos i had to be stupid and wave around with the knife...The blood attracted mosquitoes like you wouldnt believe

Thats funny man :D, ive actually read about people who sit on their hand untill it goes numb so that they can experience what you described !

The proper term for that technique is called "The Stranger"

Really:confused:

When I sliced my thumb up at Hariman with you guys it was twice the filet that lil thing was. You're a bunch of girls:p

Tony, I'm sorry my knuckle bo-bo didn't meet your expectations. Please allow me the chance to lower my safety standards and be more reckless with tools... perhaps then I would be more manly?..... putz:p

This one doesn't look like much but when I took this picture it was JUST starting to bleed.Busse make some great knives and the Hell Razor can STAB with the best of them.Luckily the bone made the blade stop.Wanna know the worse part?I was almost 40 minutes from home in the woods.I was a nice mess by the time I got home.Mom didn't even flinch she's a hardened vet to my many wounds.

I didn't get it stitched either.I didn't think it was that bad.It was the second faceplam I've ever seen from my family doctor.(the first being the slice/stab in my left calf from my Baby Ka-bar impact warthog.)

i never think to photograph my knife related wounds...too busy cleaning and patching it up asap, i did get this one in 2007 on my camera phone, went to hospital because I could see the knuckle when i separated it, didn't want to lose one of my most important assets to infection setting in the joint...sat in the ER general admissions 6 hours, just as I was meant to be seen they said it would be another 8 hours so I said forget it and left. Since then I patch just about everything up myself that I deem not too serious (i have since got a senior first aid certification).

Buck model 119 was the attacker...had way worse since that, and only one needed stitches so lucky in that regard. Looks like nothing compared to justabuyer!!!
