Inkosi

Just held an Inkosi at my local shop a few minutes ago and was really impressed with it. The grooves didn't pose a problem with my hands. It was actually very nice in hand. I bought two other knives while in there and had them to put it out of my sight so I wouldn't spend any more lol. Very cool little knife.

Yup absolutely loving this knife. Ended up selling all other knives I have and as mentioned just keeping a beater Endura for abusive crap work. The finger grooves are AWESOME on this knife, and I have large size hands. Since the knife is smaller than the small 21 the grooves aid in keeping such a small knife in your hand. Really ingenious! At first I wouldn't go near the knife because of the grooves (this is before I even held one) and now I just wish I didn't take so long to get this. It would have saved me a lot of money trying other knives. This knife will be my EDC for years to come and honestly I can't see ANY other knife kicking this out of my pocket. I have owned at least 500+ knives and THIS IS THE BEST EVERYDAY CARRY KNIFE I HAVE EVER OWNED, HELD OR USED!!!!!!!

I hear you. My question is the blade is a little thicker than the small 21. 1.) Do you even notice the difference? 2.) Is it too this for a knife of this size? I usually prefer thinner steel on small knives for better slicing. If I am going for hard use I go with a larger knife anyway.

The blade is thicker, but it is also wider. I think it works a little better for cutting food (my lunch apple at least), but it might just be in my head. At least I have never found it to be a hindrance at all of any of my uses.

HAHAHA! I wish! I will again reiterate how much I love this knife....I created a coin jar just so I can buy ANOTHER Inkosi! Seriously I want a back up one just in case something ever happens to this knife. THAT.IS.HOW.GOOD.IT.IS!!!

This one actually slices better than a small 21. I never was a fan of the 21's Hollow Grind. Hollow Grinds don't slice very well in my opinion. To me they act as an axe that splits rather than slices. Even though the blade stock is thicker on the Inkosi, it has a grind more in line with a flat grind which slices MUCH BETTER.

Now that is interesting, (the slicing issue). I wondered about the thicker blade, on a small knife like this. Good to hear it's a good slicer.

Another shot of my INKOSI......

Really impressed. Thought it would be too small. Yes, it's small but it's a mini 25 really. The changes it has are worth it.

I regretted selling my Inkosi a couple of months ago so much.....

that I had to buy another!!!!

Came yesterday and all my blues went away!!!

got a lefty off the exchange on Sunday. Came in today! I love this knife! Honestly I love it a little too much. So much so I am having issues wanting to use it. Thinking about making my small 21 my work user instead. I can't bring myself to put a scratch on this beauty.
