Just got my Inkosi this week. Love the new slip through stop pin design.

Don't know if that's a filter or something, but the stonewash on those looks awesome. I noticed a more aggressive stonewash on my most recent CRK made in August 2015 and greatly prefer it.

No filter, the low sun yesterday just made the stonewash pop in the pic.

I like that picture, and both knives that are in it... Also like the simplicity of the disassembled knife. I don't think I've ever seen a washer that had that much thought put into it :D

Bump for no other reason than "Inkosi is in the mail to me and I have the super long 2 day wait to get it, so I am reading everything about it." Any other thoughts?

What's the benefit of the new slip-through stop pin design?

I'm shure that it is precisely done, so it won't rattle or move. But the old stop pin added some strucural strength to the knife and maintained the actual stop pin in its exact position.

I'll tell you what, I've got a small mountain of Sebenzas in various configurations and this Inkosi is the one that's been finding my pocket each morning since it arrived.

Just got it today! Can't speak to long-term experience, but after having owned close to 30 CRK's I can confidently say, if I could only have one CRK, this would be it. Seriously this is almost the perfect "pocket" knife. I really hope they make a Large Inkosi or update the 25 with the Inkosi features. Mr. Reeve my hat is off to you my good sir!

I can't wait to get mine!! It is almost paid off!! Soon, it will be home, soon.

After waiting 7 months for my lefty Inkosi to be delivered, I now carry both the Inkosi and the 25. Great combo.

I bought mine on a whim thinking I need to try it out but that it would probably not amount to much. Boy, was I wrong. It immediately became my main non-work EDC - I was surprised how much I like it! Right now I go back and forth between it an a small regular Seb....

Yup, 24 hours later and I am still floored by this little knife. So much so that I put up all my knives for sale (save for a beater Endura which I will keep for when a longer blade is needed). Once they make a larger Inkosi or incorporate the changes on the Inkosi to the 25 (floating stop pin, ceramic ball channel on tan, washers, etc) I will be buying one of those and finally have my 2 knife dream team.

Seriously though the Inkosi is incredible and something I have been searching for since I entered the knife game about 10 years ago. It is the perfect edc knife. Not too big and not too small. I will be doing a much more detailed write-up of it once I have been carrying it for a couple of months.

Very encouraging ! Im really looking forward to a large Inkosi!

Inkosi? Or a small 21 Insingo w micarta?? (Can't afford both!)

After looking at those both I ended up buying the Inkosi. The Small 21 was nice but the Inkosi was slightly nicer to open and unlock. It also sits fine in my medium sized hands. If you can find a local store that has one you should check them out your self and go from there.

I don't know why I never bought a CRK before. I have other custom knives. I think it was that CRK are mostly right handed and I normally keep my knife on my left side away from keys, coins, and other things that tend to live in my right pocket. When talking with a friend about knives I got to thinking about CRK and noticed the Inkosi. That really got me thinking about it, the Small 21, and even the Mnandi. I went to Blade Gallery (Kirkland WA) today and played with them all for a little while and ended up buying an Inkosi. I loved them all but the Inkosi had a slight edge as the one my hand kept coming back to and playing it. The only problem is now I want to go back for the other models when I have more money ;) I did not expect this to start a collection.

Here is my take on the thoughts people have had about the Inkosi.
Finger groves did not end up being any sort of issue for my medium sized hands.
The blade is centered and opens easily and smoothly.
The ceramic ball in the lock bar seems to make unlocking the knife easier then on the small 21. I am not worried about the pivot not being the classic bushing one. It opens as smooth or smoother then the small 21's I tried.

The lanyard being placed higher then on the 21. Well that one I would rather have had it in the position of the 21 but not an issue. I have already gotten used it that position on my ZT0900.

Left side thumb stud being too close to the lock bar. Its not as easy to use as the right side but it still works ok for me.

This is my first CRK and I love the clip. When I place it in the watch pocket of my jeans it holds like a normal clip but then when pressed down that last short distance its like it locks over the seam of material.

I expect it will not be the same for everybody but it works for me.

Update: I really can't open the knife well with the left side thumb stud. I can if I hold the knife a certain way with my right hand but one handed using my left hand is not working so well... No big deal I am right handed and going to carry it in my right pocket. Its not a big loss since if I got a Small 21 it would have only had one stud. It could be with time I will be able to open it left handed on command but today not so much.
