If it is a farmed deer then most definitely could be a hybrid....the brow tine position will say what is the dominant strain... FYI we have reds,rusa,whitetail,sika,sambar,fallow and moose?? FES

Nah this shed was found in the woods, I didn't know NZ's deer population was that diverse...rusa/sambar were the deer I mainly wanted but ironically never found them.
