International RAT Pack orders

OK, looks like Canada Post was just teasing me. Another mailman just delivered my RP knife! Woo hoo!

Thanks again Jeff Mr and Mrs Shotty!

wow, I mean, you can't like every child, but you have to remain fair if you want to be a scouts leader ... in the organization I was in, we didn't really do badges, you just had to get to a set skill level to move on to the next stage, to earn your scarf, so usually when more groups were doing something together, one of the leaders or of the older scouts came up to you and asked you about knots or about signalling or ... so nobody had to rely on one person to advance.
Often you didn't even see it as a test, just an opportunity for rehearsal.

But that was our local group, and that has changed since. They are way more formal now.

Yeah... my boy wasn't with the "in group" and the den leader.. well HER kid and her second in charge's kid got every badge, patch and merit award possible. My kid had to do and redo every single thing over and over til I finally got really angry, then her begrudgingly gave in a single badge. I wouldn't have been mad if he had done half hearted attempts, but he put a lot of extra effort into the projects, and got nadda for it. She did everything possible to discourage my boy, and finally it worked.

Of course she and I butted heads the first camp out, my boy had a small Buck fixed blade, and she freaked... Oh what if he cuts himself, blah blah blah... I just told her that he probably knew how to use a knife better then she did, and if he was in the woods, he WAS going to have a kit.

Oh well..

nice to know I'm not the only canuck waiting on the mailman. While it's not a rat pack knife, I am waiting on my very first RC4 and a Maxpedition Versipack too. The anticipation is great!

i live in The Netherlands (next to Germany and Belgium) and i still haven't received it. should be here tomorrow hopefully:cool:, can't wait!

btw nice pics you got there Razorback!

yos, will they make you to go to a customs office to retrieve it?
They will do that here, when you get a knife you can't carry without legal reason - just to make sure you know.

It's not here, i got home from school and there was a package waiting for me,

I think it's the same in the netherlands, sometimes with some extra costs:thumbdn:

Got mine late yesterday. Good stuff, loving the G10, some pics up later. Was a little afraid it might be delayed to due some striking issues with Australia Post, but luckily the fellas at RAT sent it EMS.

The guy in Australia gets his before mine. No fair, they're ALWAYS supposed to get the shaft. I hope you at least charged him twice as much.
