Introduce yourself on the Becker Forum

Agreed. This is good to meet the new peeps, but also let them meet some of the older beckerheads.

I'm Erica - Beckerhead #54. I like knives, guns, burning stuff, video games, and kittens. I love the outdoors and learning new skills. I dabble in photography, but don't have my own nice camera. I'm obsessed with packs and I carry way too many blades with me everywhere. I sell cruises for a living, which is weird, because it's the opposite of what I thought I'd ever be doing. Someday I will own some land in the boondocks. I spend way too much time on the forums, but I love absorbing the wealth of information here.

Sometimes, yall on the bladeforums make me do silly things

Wow. I was a little surprised to see a Thurston shirt :D I went there for my sophmore year, and was told I could not return for the next year :D
I would have graduated in 78...

I don't have a Becker yet, but have been really looking at the 1& 17. I pop in here once in awhile, and enjoy the pictures. It seems like most everyone here, really enjoys spending time outdoors, and actually using knives.

I live for hunting. I bow hunt, and am an elkoholic. I work my butt off all year long, in anticipation of having 5 weeks to hunt and camp..

Here is a picture of some elk I played chase with last weekend. It was a good test of my off season stalking skills. These are about 10 miles from my house.

Here are a couple pics of deer taken off my back deck...

Hell I'll play too...

Hi, My name is Jared and I'm a Beckerholic. It's been... well, not that long since I last fondled a Becker. Actually it's been about 30 seconds (long enough to type this out) as I currently am playing with my 16. I'm not a country kid at all, I'm a city folker. I can't help it. Although I do enjoy my time out in the woods, I don't get enough time out there. I'm working on that though.

My current collection of Beckers is not as impressive as some others on here. The only "big" ones I have are the 3, 5, and 10LE. I do love all mine though.

Anyway, I currently live in St. Louis so the woods aren't TOO far away.

Well I kinda already threw myself out there, but heck....why not do it again.

Hi (waving...can you see me?) My name is Kelly. I'm a 32 year old mother of one living in Troy Alabama. I just recently started getting in to knives. I have always admired the beauty in them for as long as I can remember, but just got my very on 11 a few months ago. The collection will be growing. :D

I'm not a country girl. (I think you might have spit a little of your coffee on the screen) I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I've lived pretty much all over the US. I am starting to get out there in the "woods" and enjoying it. I'm taking baby steps. I have never hunted, never camped and I'm pretty sure if you dropped me out in the middle of the woods I would die. I do fish. (hold your applause) :)

I'm pretty much an open book. So if you got anything for me....ask away. :D

bkoregon aka Kris. Growing up in the great Northwest, I spent a lot of time outdoors and just haven't done that as much since moving to the tri-state area. I have been trying to make that a bigger part of my family's life so I really appreciate the inspiration this subforum has given me to do so. I ended up in this part of the country via BrooKlyn and Oregon, and came up with that handle years ago, way before I ended up on this site. I guess it was fate that I'd gravitate to BK&T.

Hi, my name is Tom. I like long drives while listening to the blues on my way to my friend's 7-acre piece of paradise so we don't have to walk all that far to use our guns and knives. :)

New BK4 in new The 710 Kydex/leather sheath MOLLE'ed up to a drop-leg platform:

Choppin' test with Kershaw Outcast. Next one up was BK9 and top one was Machax. The 9 actually did the best, which surprised me. I fully expected the 4 to out-perform it. I wasn't very accurate in my strokes though, so it may well have been a technique issue.

Some small targets in the background, with one big, fat target in the foreground. Kel-Tec SU16 with a few umm...minor modifications made to it:

My name is Steve, I'm almost 50,I live in the upper high desert of California. For those of you that don't know that means lows in winter down to 10 and highs in summer up to 120.It's unique. We're 1.5 hrs. from Mt Whitney 14,000ft. My wife and I live on 2.5 acres and have raised 6 kids here. I enjoy teaching the last child at home (Emily 11yrs.) outdoor skills. she enjoys it and seems to do well at it. life is about learning new thing and it never ceases to amaze me how little I know! Our house has been for sale for way to long , I keep thinking we sold it but something always comes up. We want a little more precipitation than here.

DudePal

Hi, my name is Dan. I'm a teacher in SE PA, and I love my wife, my dog, and my knives (although I have a small collection). I'm relatively new to BF/BKT Forum, but I'm slowly working up that post count so I can become a Beckerhead.

Hi, I go by the name Mrs.B, my real name is Tasha.

I'm new to the whole knife thing, I live in Illinois and love it.
I'm kinda a shy girl but will post some pics later, maybe once I get a becker.

its really nice to meet all you :)

My name is Cooper. I grew up in a small town, and am currently in college. I spend as much time in the woods as possible, and am lucky that my summer job puts me in the woods everyday.
No pictures of myself, but I assure you you aren't missing anything. Here's a pic of my Machax (thanks Moose) and my vicious woods dog.

Who's that tall drink of water looking off into the distance?

So my name's Josh. No Beckers in my picture because the saltwater would have absolutely devastated the 7, but I at least had a knife on me at the time.

First off, Hello! My name is Patrick. My moniker "Mountain Mike" is a combination of my middle name and my previous locale of Northwest Arkansas. I'm originally from St. Louis, Mo (Bevo Mill/South City boy). I currently reside in between Kansas City and Joplin with my lovely wife and our two children (6 year old daughter and 4 year old son). I have lots of knives, but only one Becker at the moment. I really enjoy the camaraderie and laidback nature here in the Becker sub-forum. I'm a pretty laid back guy myself, but...

Don't be eyeing my Guinness! :D

Hi, my name is Kevin and I am a life long knife & gun nut!:D I am a Navy Vet, Scouter and a Becker fan from way back in the Cammilus days!
I am training my young ones to love shooting sports, scouting and the great outdoors as much as I do!

Here is the gratuitous BK7 & Necker shot with my GLOCK 21 .45ACP - my typical 'woods carry kit.'

KNIVES45ACP030.jpg

Here I am with my little guy on a hike at our most recent camp-out. Yes, the women in front of us on the trail are hiking in flip-flops despite my warning of prodigeous amounts of poison ivy on the trail ...LOL. (there is BK7 in this picture...see if you can spot it?) ;)

Another one of me hiking the 'zona desert when I lived out west: the necker is on me somewhere...

Yepper that be me.

I had BHK make up 2 for me a 'while' back and I still use mine often.

I am known VERY well [ if not liked ] on the KF as I have over 20K in postings there.

Ethan is a true pisser and too funny for words.

btw,did I mention he is an AMAZING cook, and that is over a wood campfire !.

I guess I'll give this a go :)
Hi, my name is Thatotherguy, also known as TOG or Otherguy. I love Beckers, guns, hiking, wilderness, and kayaking. My favorite Becker is the 7, but I hope someday to get a Reinhardt Kuk. I have no pix of myself or my knives, as my photography skills are seriously lacking. This is the best subforum on the net, with the best people supporting the best knives known to humans.

Awesome man, I thought I recognized the name from over on the knife forums. Good to have you show up over here. I wanted one of those scaaty crafters so bad. That's when spending $300 on a knife was a pipe dream and before I discovered Fiddleback Forge.

I'll play. I'm Trevor, Beckerhead #196, living in Canberra, Australia (about two and a half hours drive southwest of Sydney and the nation's capital). Married with two beautiful kids, two dogs (a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and an Australian Kelpie), two cats and a tank full of fish. Love getting out in the Australian bush, although it happens far too infrequently. The most exciting 'bushcraft' thing we have done recently was after watching an episode of Man vs Wild and conversation turned to firesteels, so I got mine out and the kids took turns throwing sparks on the (fireproof) kitchen floor. Much fun. Love my Beckers (plus a few others) and currently own a 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, and two 11s, plus will take delivery of a BK-16 tomorrow when I get in to work.
