I contacted Bruce during the “What would Sherlock Holmes carry?” thread he started last month. I sent him an old, beat up jack knife and threw in the Holley catalog reprint that I have as an afterthought.

This is the end result, and Bruce was nice enough to share these pictures with me. He used his feather damascus for the blades. This is the 21st traditional knife Bruce has made, and I guess this is what he does in his spare time when he's not making gun knife and bowie masterpieces.

What a stunning looking knife, man...I can only imagine pulling that out of my pocket!!...awesome, truely an awesome knife by an obviously very talented maker...thank you for sharing these photos .
 
Damascus good. Ivory good. Integral bolsters good. That's a knife that Holmes would've been proud to have that in his pocket.

Incredible! If Mr. Bump's specialty isn't slipjoints, I would love to see what he does specialize in because he really didn't a fantastic job on this "side project"!
