This has been a fun thread for me. Thanks Mike and everybody for the kind words.
If you have a few minutes here is a wip thread on mini feather damascus and a 2 blade trapper you may remember last year. http://knifedogs.com/showthread.php?7452-Mini-Feather-Pattern-WIP-(hopefully)
Vince and Waynorth: the scales are mammoth and not stabilized. They are glued on with loctite 325 which actually stiffens them from the back side somewhat.
The liners and bolsters 410 stainless and are soldered using the T Bose method. I owe allot to Tony and Kerry for their tutorials they put up a couple years ago.
The back springs are 1084 and not damascus. They are not etched but could be darkened up if Mike prefers but I kinda like them this way.
