Is anyone still excited about the Izula folder?

I am not that interested in a folding knife this size & price. I prefer a Case or Buck pocket knife or a Spyderco Native folder that's made in the USA.
 
I'll be excited when it get's here....
But, that won't be for many months; at the very least 9.....
..........by my 'red neck' way of thinking anyway. ;)

I am very excited however, about the "IZULA II" and the "HEST/F" though..... They are right around the corner. :thumbup: ;)
 
Keeping my eye on it for sure.

I find I'm caring less and less for folders as time goes on for EDC. The HEST folder seems decent enough, not my style though. I'd much rather go for the Izula folder when it becomes available. Looking for something to hopefully replace my Benchmade Mini Griptillian and I'm hoping the Izula folder will be the one to do so.
 
Really like the look of that knife. It's on my list of knives to buy. I'd like to see it in titanium also. More info or at least tossing us a crumb would be awesome!
 
How about some info? We all know it's not coming out this year. Last word was the lock was changing and Rowen was working on the licensing? Update please??
 
I like the size and lines, but I'm not super excited about it. I think I've narrowed down my next folder or two (just yesterday) to a couple of models that are both assisted and have a flipper. I've been using flippers since I started carrying a knife, so I vastly prefer them to studs. I like the assist so I don't have to worry about almost getting it locked open.

The Izula II will be mine, however. It looks just right for my idea of a "backup" fixed blade. Expect a review w/pics when the day comes.
 
I don't know if it's back in this thread a way or not...sorry, it could be in another...
but Jeff has said it's coming...but there were issues...and other stuff that came to be "front burner" right now...but it will come. (later)


This thead died for awhile and then came back to life for some reason.
The Izula folder will be nice, for sure, when it does come.
 
I'm not really a folding knife fan anymore, but I'll get this when it finally comes out. If there's ever a situation where a fixed blade just can't be carried, then I'll have this.
