I for one am looking forward to it. I have a HEST/F on pre-order, but I think the Izula folder would suit me better for EDC.
Although I would prefer it to be a liner lock.
I agree! +1!

I'll be hanging on until the Izula folder rolls around (since I'm a big fan of the fixed blade version already).
I agree
The Izula folder may not be at the front of the line for ESEE, but it's still near the top of my list.
Does anyone know if they still plan on making the blade D2?
no way that it comes out this year, maybe middle of next year
I was kinda surprized about this "licensing" also. Just about every knife company makes a "frame lock". I think Spyderco is one of the few or only one who gives Chris Reeves any credit.don't know since they said they worked out the "licensing" on the lock. I don't think you really have to do any licensing with a regular liner lock or lockback as those are so common at this point. I have no idea who would own the patents on those.
i am still pumped about the izula folder! the picture on the esee website is my wallpaper on my computer. it will for sure be my new edc blade.
yeah ill be ordering one of these babies they look great shoud just slip in the pocket and disappear until its needed
maybe we can get an update soon on what is going on with the izula folder
That would be really nice. Im sure there are a few people out there, including me, that would love to know the latest on this knife.:thumbup:
