Is it weird that two people just sent me the same pics?

Iainfm, offered to trade me a left-handed Umnumzaan, he could not produce any pictures of it though, and then right before we were to send the knives he said the he dropped the 'Zaan and broke the tip off, then he offered to buy my knife and backed out of that offer just about as soon as I received the email, I was thinking myself that the whole ordeal was a little odd, this makes me feel pretty confident that the guy never had the knife and was just trying to scam/screw with me.
