Is N690CO a super steel.

I'm not quite getting why this thread is fired up again.
I have one example of N690Co.
The steel is made in Austria.
My knife is a Spyderco Pattada made in Italy
The steel sharpens great (easy enough to get rid of the bur) and lasts well enough as a work knife and so I say : It is good steel.
Is it super ? Not really, it is about like VG-10 or 440C.
I like both of those steel a lot.
M4 is what I call super steel.
N690Co isn't there but then . . . for me . . . not much compares to M4.

Does the number of banned users make N690Co a controversial steel?
