I wouldnt get too much into dissing him, he might come on up in here and put some metal in your ass, and I aint talking bout no knives ......... Cos thats how he do :D Fur sur.


(Just to be clear, this was said with tongue firmly in cheek (as in a JOKE) I dont nor never intend to speak like this in the real world) Some person/s thought this was how I actually spoke. Poor them.

Sign of the times. Everything has to have a veneer of hype now. In many cases there's nothing under the veneer. At least the guy can make knives.
 
He's a GREAT Knife Maker IMHO.

I don't understand all the 'gangsta' stuff either,but it doesn't turn me off to his product.
 
IMO Mike is marketing genius. And that's on top of being a talented knifemaker and innovative designer. You may not get his style, but hey, it'd be a boring world out there if all of us were the same. He definitely has a handle on his business. And business is goin' well.
 
I don't like the gansta stuff. However, he does designs/makes good knives. So I just ingnore the "press" stuff.
 
I like Snody knives and I'm a subscriber to his youtube channel. The hip-hop and status obsession doesn't bother me, that's just who Snody is, and I actually like it and think it's amusing. Everyone has their own unique personality. I don't own any of his knives yet, but I very much like the design.
 
The whole $$$$$$$$$ thing is silly and a huge turn off for me. So much so that I will never buy one of his knives.

But I doubt he cares since he seems to be selling everything he makes, and at high prices too. So to each their own!
 
Most of the time I don't know what he is saying, but his knives look pretty sweet. The BM/Snody collabs I have handled were pretty nice, so the proof is in the puddin. He's keepin it 100+ and making lots of money!!! Good on you M. Snody!
 
If I were a rock star, I might carry one of his sweet "new money" series folders, or maybe one of those sweet damascus fixed blades tucked into the waistband of my skin-tight jeans. :D

He lives on a ranch. He has goats. I swear!

Sometimes you need more than a quick glance to understand things. ;)
 
Sometimes it's very difficult to sort a show from real. Who knows if he is just making fun of us, wether someone thinks he is cool or not.
 
I would guess Mr. Snody has a killer sense of humor and has a laugh every time one of these threads pops up. :D

After going and watching about 20 of his vids, I am just losing it here. I now think he's funny as heck. Regardless of it's a marketing thing or not....it's funny. I don't mean funny as in he's a jerk, I mean funny as in it's really smart. PLus I just saw a vid where he has his goats and he's talking about being 'green'. LOL.

He's probably a real down to earth guy and is having a good time.

On a side note, I freakin' think his knives kick butt. I only wish I could get ahold of a Hybrid. I think that's what the BM 425 was built after.
 
His knives are quality work, he runs a good buisiness that makes some good money.

After watching one of his videos from December '08 he seems to have a good head on his shoulders despite that kinda gangster show/attitude.

I think it is more of a front than anything, but I think it's how he honestly sees himself more than how he thinks he has to act to sell knives.
 
I'm a big fan of Snody's work. I'll admit his personality isn't what I expected from a knife maker but hey he does some amazing work. Plus he's based in my hometown. One of Mike's folders is on my "want" list, a.k.a. the wish I had enough money list.
