Is the Shirogorov market getting soft?

Actually there's not even a US maker can match the level of fit&finish, flipping action, manufacture complexity of Sergey Shirogorov. I've seen all the makers during Blade show and TKI, no maker can be close.

That's a pretty bold claim. Or are we just talking factory knives here?

What I meant is tactical flippers made by CNC or other high accuracy machines.

If you include hand made knives, then Kyle Royer is definitely the best knife maker IMO, the only one can be ranked close to Kyle is Rodrigo Sfreddo , both are the best blade smiths in ABS, but I prefer Kyle.

Sure is, Michael Walker would be amused.

I've never been invited to AKI, I don't have the budget to buy those knives, what I said is based on the knives I owned and I have seen. But I bet the flipper action can never be close to Sergey Shirogorov, it's the best imo.

But didn't you just claim that you own three knives that amount to the cost of a brand new BMW:confused:

Do you know how much of a good AKI knife? These 3 Sergey probably can only buy 1 AKI knife.

The AKI folder is not a tactical folder, it's an art work. They don't value the flipping action like shirogorov.

The price of an art stuff can be as crazy as possible.

Shirogorov have made the most accurate bearings for the flipper, no maker can match.

And I don't value the folders on engraving or other art stuff.

The most valuable factor of a folder to me is flipping action, the DRRBS system, the way shirogorv makes the detent, makes the Sergey Shirogorv the best flipper.

If you have held one, you will know. And yes, these 3 can buy a brand new BMW, these 3 are the best Sergey shirogorov ever made, and also the full metal sergey 111 below, which is the only 111 running on DRRBS.

I think it's softening. I just picked up a lnib hati for what I consider a reasonable amount (circa $500usd).
Top knife though. Better than even my Strider ddc in terms of fit and finish.

Sergey Shirogorov Line, which is the best flipper in the world imo, has used some unique materials( Timascus, zirconium), but the total price of the knives below can buy a brand new BMW. :)

LOL sure thing, man.

Production hati always uses Washer, not bearings , however one of the best stuff of shirogorov is their bearing.
Hati's price is always lower than 95, no matter production line or CD line, full metal is always most expensive.

Tis true, but the point stands that the shiros seemed to be cheaper now than they were 6 months ago.

That's totally fake rumor, all the real shirogorv are made in Russia!

I know every knife production factory in China

I know their manufacture ability, they CAN'T even make a same production line knife, not to even mention CD line and Sergey line.

IF YOU OWN ONE SHIROGOROV, YOU WILL KNOW, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO COPY BY OTHER MAKERS.

Wow, the fanbagging here is strong. These are great knives, there's no need to blow smoke of this magnitude.

So, you're telling us that those three folders, together are valued at over $50,000USD?

I will also I think the shiro blades i have have all had just outstanding heat treats no matter what steel (there Elmax was best Elmax I ever had) and that full flat grind blade is one of the best slicers I have ever used.

You know the prices? How about you tell me how much each was auctioned on this year and last year's blade show?
How about you show your knives?

Yeah, that's great. Listen, how about you show some more pictures of those three knives which are allegedly worth more than $50,000 (your claim, not mine)? We'd sure all love to see them. :)

Over $30K , and yes you can buy a entry level for a bit over $30K

Sure thing, man.

P.S. Sorry, I don't believe you, not even a little bit. You're a Shiro fanboy, that's fine. However, if you think you're going to convince anyone that your point of view is the only right one, well, good luck.

I never claimed that's more than $50K, and these 3 worth more than $30K, I got Siberia from Bill @tricity custom knives and I got the other two F7 from this year's blade show.

The full metal 111, is from a collector on instagram, which he got from this year's TKI.

Who the hell cares if you believe me or not? Why not show your knives to others? What do yo have?

My IG @ is soccerman_lefty, if anyone wanna see more pics of my Shiro collection, just go to my IG, I can send you more.

I never tried to convince anyone lol , I always say Sergey Shiro is the best "IMO", have you seen "IMO" ,

So what's the best flipper to you? and do you have the ability to say why? I guess you never owned a custom knife.

Small sebenza 350$
Neon- should be say $600, (currently 650$) m390/s90v vs 35vn, multi row bearing system, titanium back spacer, better fit and finish.

Pricey....yes, outrageous....not IMHO, if it then why don't we all just get 100$ cold steels or spyderrcos, they do the job just fine.
