I dont think 3V is "hard to sharpen" but it does require more time than INFI or SR101 does.

I agree. There are steels that are hard to sharpen. 3v is not one of them

This is all relative, as you not only have to take damage into consideration but also the grind ability of the steel. Comparing 3V to 10V, you could say that 3V has high grind ability. Comparing 3V to 1095, you could say the opposite.

Very true, it is relative. But I remember the days of 440V and 420V. They lasted what seemed like forever, but when it came time to resharpen, man was it a PITA
