Is there anything about a Tom Mayo knife...

There is another problem I have failed to address properly... I understand on occasion people get my knives with one screw in the back missing......guess someone at the P O is stealing them!! :(

Let me know if you get one. I'd drive up the Denver to see it.

I think a TNT will be my next custom purchase as well, but I can't decide between the 3.25" or 3.5" blade version.

I'm probably going to purchase one in September.

Mayo ships knife with a screw loose.

This would come as a surprise to whom ???

been biding my time patiently waiting for THE CALL...."paging mr.Nasr your TnT is ready and will be arriving shortly"
when I realised resisting was futile... I spied a little number surfing the web the other night ...decked out holes an all,I gave in who wouldn't ..yall know what kinda lust I'm talkin about.
anyhow we met first time this morning and i put her through the ringer ...50 lbs of spuds, then a sponge bath it is love true love the kind I thought only existed on TV
Belive the Hype this is a SERIOUS HARD ROCKER THAT RAWKS SERIOUSLY HARD
I'm still gonna wait for the call cause many is so much better than one!!!!

I sure hope not! It would be a slower draw... AND I like my finger TIPS!!!!:)

I seem to recall reading his thoughts on this before. I have a friend who had $17,000.00 worth of surgery repairing a tendon in his thumb because of tip-up carry and an MT LCC. Tom said it is because of this sort of thing that he does not offer this as an option.

I own a Sebenza and I also have a medium TNT. I prefer the blade material, the finish, and the ergonomics of the TNT. Plus, Tom is a great guy to deal with.

The lock is part of the frame. A picture describes it better than I can.

Carried my large Sebenza (ambi studs) in my left front pocket (TNT in my right) and stuck my left hand in my pocket to get my Fisher Bullet Space Pen... started writing and noticed blood on the paper... Yup, my Sebbie bit me. I guess I will have to post that hummer... never been bit by my TNTs... There is validity to the tip down carry.

MY POINT EXACTLY (know pun intended)
see my post on the "Tip Up-Tip Down" thread!! :(
luckily you didnt hurt yourself badly, but I have seen it happen, again.................and again.......sharp knives cut flesh VERY easily!!!!!!!!

Oh Yeah? Well as a matter of fact I knicked myself on a tip down knife a while back that was in my right front pocket. If you reread that post you will see that he was carrying his Sebenza (I'm assuming right handed) in his left hand pocket....Of course it could bite you there! I like tip up!

I don't see how changing pockets could make a difference. I have had my lg. TNT in both of my front pockets and the clip and tip stay in the same place. How does moving the Sebenza from right to left pocket effect the tip up carry????

Michael

This was not the first time I have poked myself with the Sebenza, just the first time it drew blood. Last time, it was in my right front pocket.
