is your knife the most expensive thing you have on you?

I guess my credit cards would be the most "valuable", but for actual monetary value, it'd be in this order:
watch
wedding band
fountain pen (if carried)
wallet

Knife would be near bottom. So would smart phone.

Glock 17 $500, Iphone 3GS $500, SureFire LX2 Lumamax $220, Ariat Rebel Legend boots $150, El Paso Saddlery Summer Cruiser IWB holster $75, Spyderco Resilience $60, SOG Pocket PowerPlier $58, Timex T2M808 $55, Kershaw Military Boot Knife $40, 5.11 Operators Belt $35, NiteCore Smart PD EX10 $30, 2 Zippos $18 each, ASP Key Defender $20, spare G17 mags $20 each, Cabelas bifold wallet $20, Old Timer pocket knife $15, Carmex $1, bandana $1.

guess my knife is my most expensive thing...but my watch is only $90 and my phone was free...

zt 0500
eye glasses
watch
car key
wallet
flashlight
spyderco h1
leatherman wave
pen

the watch is the most expensive

I don't wear a watch or my wedding ring so my boots, which I wear every single day, are always the most expensive thing on me. I also only use the spurs and chaps a few days a week, this is just what I had on today plus some rain gear that was given to me.

Always my watch. Right now, I have a Doxa Sub 1200 Professional and a Benchmade Mini Dejavoo in my pocket.

Citizen watches are a personal fav, can i ask why you carry 1oz. silver coin?

Ruger Police Service-Six, 2.75" barrel, tuned & smoothed action, Hogue rubber Monogrip, loaded with (6) 158 grain Federal Hydra-Shocks...That's worth alot more $ than my EDC folder (CRKT Hissatsu)...Then there is also my Citizen Ecodrive "Ecozilla" 300m watch that I wear daily...Also worth alot more $ than my EDC folder.

Carrying these. So it's gotta be my pistol.

Damn- three knives for a day outting? Impressive :)

Most of the time, it'd be phone/computer...watch...wallet (highly variable)...something else...knife. B/c I don't always have a knife with me and my EDC aren't expensive- always under $100. Currently under $25 for a kershaw leek or Sogzilla- so really the knife while a fantastic resource is well down on the $'s and well up on the value list

If I had more pockets, I'd carry more. :D

But seriously, I have a dedicated SD knife(only for serious social purposes), a knife for utility chores(which is also kept clean in case of outside the house food chores). And the kiwi for when I need to be sensitive to NKP. Oh, and I'm a mall ninja. ;)

1. My soul.
2. My brain.
3. My leather jacket.
I live in a big city and I never feel the need to have a knife on me when I'm out in the street. Your body language, your eyes, your voice, your mental sharpness and your ability to run, are your most efficient survival tools in real life.

Unfortunately none of those things can make me a dag'nabit sandwich! I get frustrated if I don't have a knife clipped to my pajamas, let alone walking down the street.

If I don't have my Phone on me the most valuable thing I wear is often my boots, $200 for those, and worth every cent. I actually only have a few folders that are worth more than my boots.

When I carry a knife, it's my Douk-Douk... which is the less expensive thing I have on me!
