When Mr benyamin responds, I WILL send HIM my license, and this thread will be deleted. I can care less what you do with your account. I did not smear anyone, but simply explained what was asked of me to clear my name. You can go cry about receiving your knife, which you received for 25% less than what you would pay anywhere else, a few days later than you should have.

I agree my god guys this guy kills himself daily to help people and you lose your mind because the knife came a couple days late? Did your life really go down hill when you couldnt pull out your new knife to cut paper a couple days later than you were hoping? How rediculous. From one health care professional to another people just dont get it. Im baffled that someone is making this big of a deal. You got your knife calm down killer

You still don't get it. But it doesn't surprise me.

Dont make certain repsentations in a sale, then totally ignore those representations you made in the sale, and when the people who are relying on those representations call you out because you havent upheld them, you lie to them.

jackal_727 and seeverscpa...
Great job on letting us all know how NycEric operates! My only question to both of you would be why haven't you left negative feedback?

As I understand the feedback rules, feedback isn't permitted where no one is out money or property.

Happy is correct as I understand the rules. The rules clearly state that if the deal never happened, you can't leave feedback. I would say that same concept applies to deals that were ultimately consummated and no one is out economically, despite what may have happened during the process.

And I think this thread has sufficiently aired the issues.

The rules are IMO ridiculous. The feedback system is useless...
This thread will be buried in a few weeks and buyers will have to search his name and dig through threads vs just clicking his feedback. [emoji849]

Wow. My money's on the Doc. We'll see.

Really, what has stated so far has you leaning towards believing him? He said his LinkedIn profile was fake. If he didn't want to have his factual information on LinkedIn, why be on LinkedIn at all? It's a professional networking site.

It would be easy to verify if his LinkedIn profile is accurate, if he hadn't taken down his profile.

There is also a Facebook profile with a picture of a male that looks just like the picture that was up on the LinkedIn profile before it was taken down. I guess that profile has to be fake as well? I found a wedding registry using that same name, which we have to assume is also fictitious?

None of it makes any reasonable sense.

Something else doesn't make any sense either. Nowhere on his LinkedIn profile was there any mention of any medical degree, medical residency, college etc. It showed that prior to October 2016 he worked as a car sales consultant of some sort. And like I said many posts earlier, the LinkedIn profile didn't show his position at the hospital as a physician, it showed it as a patient services coordinator. But he claims that whole thing was fake so he didn't have to run into an aggrieved parent of a patient or somesuch explanation.

It's not a perfect system, but I do believe it works. I have a knife and he has his money. It was resolved at that point.

But I'm not going to stand for this guy spinning this elaborate story about why we he didn't ship the package as per his sales post, to myself and another forum member. Remember I have an email from him on Tuesday night where he said I've dropped the package off for shipment. I now know that to be completely false.

By the way the FedEx tracking number I have shows it was picked up in Jamaica New York. The hospital where he says he works as an ER doc, and where he says he dropped the package off in the mail room, is 12 miles away in Brooklyn New York.

I don't know my way around New York, but it doesn't look like the package left any mail room in a hospital in Brooklyn.

And I've just been informed that he also scrubbed his BF profile during the last day or so, thus removing any information of what he did for a living. Apparently it was something other than an emergency room physician.

The Seller updated \ wiped the For Sale listing. I believe it had Bulleted \ Explicit \ Bolded statements concerning the sale with Shipping Times listed as 2-Days.

The Seller didn't say in the ad- I might get tied up with work and Not ship on time.

The OPs major concern was Not lack of prompt shipping but the lack of communication and an update on the status. When there was communication it was inaccurate or misleading.

If your life is chaotic and you can't fulfill your obligations- don't participate in online transactions. When a stranger sends you money for an item you have an obligation to fulfill your commitment with prompt shipping and prompt clear communication.

Take pride in what you do, run it like a business or don't participate in online transactions.

I agree with the statement about digging up threads before you buy/trade/sell with someone. It's time consuming and you may lose out on a deal. Feedback is the fastest way to see how an individual conducts their self.

The deal went through, so, no negative feedback is warranted. Why didn't the buyers leave Neutral Feedback instead of all this drama that is quite useless.
At least future buyers can check out a person's feedback score to see if there's been any issues. I just don't see many Neutral Feedback scores on members.

The first thing I noticed about this whole transaction is that, on the initial night of the sale posting, he edited the shipping description from Fed Ex overnight shipping to something other than Fed Ex.

Why would he edit that original post at 11:24 PM last night? Which is the second time he edited the shipping info in the post. He did it once the night of the initial post and again last night.

Here is the edited post.

Neutral feedback? To further what purpose? Are you saying leave neutral feedback and say what in the notes?

I believe what Ajack is alluding to is that the feedback system allows for Positive, Neutral or Negative.
Neutral would likely let others know that the transaction wasn't perfect, but there wasn't enough reason to leave Negative feedback.
