Yes. For one person. Now if 20 or 30 folks are interested and they all PM him, the total energy is a LOT more.An equivalent amount of energy as it took to pm him to find out more info haha!![]()
Confused... Wasn't the person's name stated in the title of the thread?
Joe I got some micromesh, needed to get some anyway.
This thread kind of meanders and I am not sure if I missed it. Did all those scammed get reimbursed by PP? If so, will there be any repercussions for @symphonyincminor by BF?
It’s become somewhat convoluted but the OP had a ghosting issue with @symphonyincminor after paying for an item offered by same but never received and raised it as a concern. Member @symphonyincminor never responded (could have resulted from some catastrophic circumstances unknown to BF) to OP’s predicament and OP posted the extant circumstances in GB&U. Various members weighed in and it turns out a couple other members were in the same boat with respect to @symphonyincminor. Speculation ensued as to why an otherwise long term member with a lot of positive sales transactions suddenly disappeared w/o explanation. Another member (not OP) commiserated and stated that there was another established member also guilty of shady sales practices who had been getting away with such (i.e. specifically stating that the blade they offered for sale had never been used or carried BY HIM/HER while failing to acknowledge that the same knife may have been used or carried by a previous owner) but, nonetheless, has been allowed to remain active and unrepentant on BF. For some unknown reason, this particular deep-sheet has remained unidentified. Speculation (“internet drama”) ensued. Be helpful to get to the bottom of this drama. Anyone?
^^^ Excellent summary- thank you, R!![]()
he states in his ads "I have never carried or used it”. But when receiving his knife and discovering they were obviosly used... His reply is " well I never said its was brand new".
The seller that does this is a very frequent seller and has a large amount of sales here on BF (I guess that is why no one will stand up to the deception). Not worth the hassle and just learned the hard way to never buy from again.Saw a knife for sale a few weeks back that had the same claim. Never carried or used (he might have even said never sharpened I don't remember) yet it had a mirror polished edge on it that many including myself pointed out. Knife didnt come that way. Pretty shady saying its unused because you didn't use it yet the person you got it from cleary did or at least sharpened it...
