It begins... Brutus (Updated 05/14/11) Pics on p.4

Becker needs to talk with you about turning a few...thousand of them out.
I'd dig it even more with a higher grind, but that's me.
As is, I'd be interested @ some point.

Apparently there was a bit of an accident involving the first one and a belt sander, so this is the MKII. Heat treat today hopefully.

Looking damn good. Looking forward to the finished product.

No idea on finish, probably satin or something similar. Grivory is the route I am taking, hence why they are becker shaped handles. Sheath, no idea, don't have the knife yet. All the pics I have are in this thread, Chris hasn't finished it yet. I am *REALLY* hoping he can get it done in the next couple of weeks though so I can take it to the gathering.

That thing looks like a beast. Can't wait till you have some pictures of that badboy chopping up some wood.

neat :) i hope it's at least 3/8 inch thick, maybe 1/2 :>

suddenly i'm reminded that i should see about cutting a BK77 down to a BK10 :)

I'm really impressed with how quickly you get going with your ideas. First the sheath container mod, and now this. Awesome stuff, Derek!

Per Chris this morning, there is a very good chance this will be ready before the Gathering...

This morning's updates show the knife being very close to completion.
