That looks so much cooler than the first one, I can't put my finger on why. But that is one serious blade. I am impressed.
 
I love this design. You and Ethan need to work something out so that you can BRING IT !!!!
We need mass production since I will buy at least two and I know others will also
 
I really like the knife, great job. I might of missed a post where you lay out the measurements. It looks like an 8 inch blade or so. What's the length? I read where it is 1/4 inch thick.............you had me at 1/4 inch thick........... me likey, me wanty, me neeeeeddddddyyyyy!!
 
can wait to see it finished!. i remember when this was just a baby in the becker knife ideas thread.

I know you've been looking for some Grivory for it, if you're still looking. I'd be willing to donate a set for the project. KA Bar or Camillus I've got an extra set of each.

Nope, not at first anyways. Good ole Ka-Bar era grivory for this baby. Later, maybe some micarta, but ole Derek isn't one to sit on his rear while others do the making. There is another project in the works that very well may result in all kinds of interesting micarta in some magical colors of all kinds. And they might even be available to the unwashed masses on a semi continuing basis. No promises though.

Thanks Oregon. Already got me an extra set off someone of the Ka-Bar ones, and I have a ton of the old Camillus ones for some reason. Although if you feel the need to send em my way, they will get used. Your call, but it is appreciated either way.
 
I'd love to see this come to production, the design is simply brilliant, would be something to compare with the ESEE Junglas, which I think is a great idea. As a long time ESEE user, I recently got my first becker a bk2 and it is the best user out there for the price point. Dollar for Dollar, Becker's are unbeatable, and this would look great on their lineup.
