Anyone know if this might be a Vaughn Sub Zero? There are no markings. But as you see it's very small ? Sorry still having issues posting pics. https://imgur.com/a/jA2al

Probably not, because it appears old enough that it would be marked if it was a Vaughn sub zero. I don't think it's even been 15 years since Vaughan switched to etching their tools.Anyone know if this might be a Vaughn Sub Zero? There are no markings. But as you see it's very small ? What do you make of the 4th one up on the right column in your picture?
It's now a Kelly Perfect head that I cut off of a wrecked handle.woah, is that a kentucky with phantom bevels AND old plumb handle? thats my dream axe right there, i love kentuckys!
i didnt think those existed
You can always PM me or email me at jblyttle@gmail.com, but I may have that one sold already.im not sure how i can make you an offer without breaking rules
You're going to grind on them ?http://imgur.com/a/ubw0I today's flea market had some good stuff, this is $20. i traded someone my old snath for that one. incase you cant see it, there's a crate hatchet, eggbeater drill with bits, an 8 pound cross peen, a plumb boys axe and a ww2 lineman's flint edge (thanks steve for the information) and a medium tooth rasp.
dont worry about the shininess in the stamps, i just cleaned the larger stamps with an engraving bit. all the shiny spots are just scratches. nothing serious. they look half ground because i realized a worn out belt on a low speed belt sander sucked. so im not grinding them until i get my angle grinder back
I've got the exact same gammon reel plumb bob.
I wasn't trying to be rude or anything I thought you were saying you were going to grind or sand all of the rust off them, nothing wrong with someone who knows what they're doing sharpening with a belt grinder.yes hickory i use power tools on all my axes. never had an issue with it.
Several years ago I took a couple images to a local print shop. They scanned them, sized and printed out decals.. . .
is there a flint edge decal i can find somewhere (like the picture) so i dont have to hire an artist

It does look similar to the Vaughan sub zero though, could you get a shot of the top of the eye and of the handle.
