  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Any morning you find TWO leg vises is a great morning.

Grabbed this thing down at the local hardware store, I needed a bit of a project to blow off some steam and this had a whole lot of surface rust, but otherwise looked pretty good. So I figured, why the hell not, I don't have a cruiser yet and thats what I chopped wood with as a kid.

The only marking on it is a 2 2 (with the second two being about half the size of the first).

It's 8 1/2" wide

Cleaning up pretty well, just have a little bit to go I think. The handle is pretty rough and missing a lot of wood, but it still seems solid enough to have a bit more life in it. I think I will probably hold off on rehanging it until I need to.

Edit: A couple ebay auctions seem to indicate that this is a True Temper, and it was originally painted red with a paper label. Can anyone confirm that?

Yep it's a TT woodslasher that would've come red.
Looks better without it though.
