I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the fellas here on the forum that I have grown-up with as a maker. I've loved every minute of it.

The hard cold fact is that I just cant do it any more. My back is just killing me when I try to do even a little bit of work on knives or anything else for that matter.

So .....

I am officially retiring.

I'll still be on the forums. Just not doing any more making of any kind.

I can not think of a better person to have helped out here.

Thank you for all you have done Mark. My thoughts, hopes and prayers for relief are always with you. So is my friendship.

Very sorry to hear this, Mark. You make some cool stuff!
I do wish you all the best and glad you're going to stick around here.

Sorry to hear you are not going to be making anymore Mark. It is good to here you will be around the forums. All the best!

Bob

Sorry to hear ya have to give up the craft. Maybe after a break you'll be able to do a little.

Glad you're sticking around to 'watch our backs'! Hope ya feel better!!

Mark, I'm saddened to hear it's come to this. I surely empathize with how one's back can change his life. I wish you all the best, and pray the docs will keep seeking ways to help you cope with this.

sorry to hear this Mark . I know the back pain all to well . Unless one has had it , they don't understand it . Take care of yourself.

Sorry as well Mark to hear that new! Hope you get feeling better down the road. Maybe teaching it would work out better for you. :)

Hey ... as long as you're still here, that's what counts.

I am sorry to hear it. Technology may have something to help you in the future.
This does not let you off the hook for Trackrock. I hope you are there helping us wannabes make something useful. Teaching has it's own rewards.
See you there, Ken

PS: Stock removal is often done sitting down. Ask Travis Daniels about it.
