230, did your blade have a line of INFI pits on the flat just below the spine?
here was mine after some work.

btw, what grit belts were you using?
Resin, you have any pics of your NMFBM? I'd love to see it.
Alright, i'm finished, I just need to hand sand down the spine/talon hole/butt and a little bit after the handle that I missed with my sander and clean up a couple low grit scratches above the edge. This is the sharpest I have ever gotten a knife, free hanging hairs are fuzz sticks and it glides through phonebook paper like nothing.
Should I go further or just be happy with it the way it is?

That is right...Ankerson had to![]()
Yeah, I was kidding also, but like you said it would be fun to see![]()
I was kidding. ROFL
But it would be nice to see.![]()
I'll get some later when I'm a little more motivated, but my ASH could make hair fuzzies after being power stropped with some .5 compound. I got a pic of that atleast

That was SHARP.
Now I started finishing my knives with pink compound after the green and then bare leather by hand, it's gotten into crazy territory.
As for the newspaper/phonebook, that's not too hard, I can usually get that right off the 15 micron belt.
I will say, the first time I use the knife against wood, it won't be splitting hair, but it'll still shave arm hair and paper. The pink compound is useless for everything but my ego.
