Not understandable. Sellers listing items as "CONUS Only" irritate me way more than anyone flipping for profit.

In the few years that I've been here I've not had any issue shipping to and from the states.

I've got no problems with Dan making a business out of flipping. He's put time, money and a lot of effort into research and attending shows etc. He's just been a bit more professional about it than most are used to seeing. I know he has a very good collection of Busses and his business helps him pay for that. It just the way he roles.

He's clearly marked as a dealer and it's all above board so live and let live I say. I'm sure Dan isn't losing sleep over any comments he may have had on the forum.

One thing I think of is that he is ensuring a lot more infi makes it into customers hands. This allows Jerry to sell more, allowing him to not worry about making money and concentrate on new designs, competitions, drinking and making fun on here. That can't be a bad thing.

All because I bought a knife from him in the past. Don't know about you, but there are people out there who aren't willing to do that even for their own family... That's all I gotta say.

I've had similar experiences with Dan and he's alright in my book too. :thumbup:

I posted on one thread - assumingly the only one - because I thought it was a funny comment about Dan. A joke, like Jaxx buying 27 Skellies. IT WAS FUNNY!!!

For anyone to take any comment on the Busse forum as anything BUT a joke at first is troublesome to me. Heck, I've had to make retractions in the last month b/c people don't see HUMOR anymore. Worse, is people may be delivering comments without humor! EEEK!

Everyone needs to take a chill pill. Or a chill shot. Or a chill babe. (Tony G's in da house!) Seems everyone is DEMANDING someone else do something that they aren't required to do. Just go enjoy yourself, appreciate what you have, and see every comment with posted by that weird guy on page 2 with the funky horn-hair.

At least there was some good thread drift to lighten the mood.

I guess it was my fault. After several days of seeing cheap shots aimed at Liu Kang, I got fed up with the direction our forum has taken. I used the comments about Dan as an example of what I thought was wrong here. I am neither his friend nor his foe. I was not defending him, but defending my community.

I should have started a thread to talk about cheap shots, snide comments, and thinly veiled attacks, without using any specific examples. Since most people seem unwilling to talk about the comments, the behavior that does nothing to keep this place fun, as I asked, this thread is now closed.

Sorry, Dan, I really didn't want it to be about you, my mistake.
