MaryAnne, no doubt. She seemed low-maintenance & genuine, and still looked good. Ginger, OTOH.....foreplay was prolly like 3 hours of pleading. You know the Skipper got nuthin'.

Huh. I don't think I realized they were discontinued. Handled one briefly at one of my favorite local dealers last week. Feels nice and choppy in the hand, but the square handle profile isn't as comfortable as the Toooj series from Ka-Bar. I like that big upswept sharpened clip myself.
Edited to add: And the sheath is changed from the leather-and-cordura that it was before to Ontario's version of the nylon tactical sheath. Not nearly as well-made or useful as the Becker stock sheaths. :barf:

Hmmmm...thinking about re-handling this beast and cleaning it up a bit. What say you? Will I kill the original by doing my own thing with it? Looks like whoever had it before tried to sharpen it on a grinder, so the edge is messed up, anyway.

Why ever'bOdy picken' on dey MAIL.men? It seems more a comment about us as the people that use government propped up mail services and actually receive packages 99% of the time they are sent to us....yet still we find reason to piss and moan. I'm happy that the system works....and that it works pretty well. Wait five days for a package? That's actually very reasonable, if not viewed through the lens of instant gratification. But, I digress. YAY for the 4. I was supposed to get one in the mail today, too.Well hopefully my BK4 and BK11 should be waiting for me when I get home. Ginger was a self absorbed bitch! Let alone a dramatic actor. Even if the Skipper or Gilligan or even old Thirstan ever got a piece of it they would of never known if she was faking it! To much sh!t to put up with in my book. Mary Ann was where it was at. Those cut offs and red plaid shirt got me through puberty just fine!
