Where is the pricing you found??

I went back to find the link to PM to you and realized I had scanned the google header of a page.. I searched for gibson / ESEE and I just saw a header that said Gibson ESEE $150.. now that I went and actually looked at it, I see it was for a class.. so I don't actually know how much it will be.. sorry for the false alarm.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

For the record, that was recorded whilst I was nowhere near the area at the first gathering, and what I would assume is far to soon for E to be bandying about such allegations about my personal preferences. Still, it was interesting timing on his part...

Saw that another manufacturer is going to offer a hammer hawk in 1055.. I don't have any experience with 1055 or hawks for that matter.. is 1055 a good steel for a hawk? I have been wanting to try one out for a while now, just not a huge fan of cold steel.

Oh snap, seems like I missed out on the knife carving challenge. Too much on my mind with the new job and all. Cool entries though, nice job peeps!

That's crazy, trade.

Last knife I got from Todd, it left Indiana and got to Illinois by way of Missouri.

I have seen some strange tracking, but never a package that apparently found a hole in the space-time continuum.:D

Now you know why its called "going postal" you'd have to be crazy to find logic in the was postal service. what sucks on the end of the seller/provider is telling people when the PO says it will get there, and of coarse it usually doesnt on the said time. I learned a long time ago to tell people if the PO reciept says Tuesday, might give it a few days before you get excited about it, The good thing it at least you can see where they are with the tracking info. even if it is crazy.

by the way cbw, just sent you message. Thanks man! got it!

Do you want me to just go grab it and drive it down? It would probably get there quicker! That is ridiculous! I'd suggest taking a screen shot of it and when you get the package email USPS about there being a screw up.

I know way too many people that work at the post office. All of them are crazy!

...allegations about my personal preferences...

It doesn't matter to me if you're Mexican or not.

...is 1055 a good steel for a hawk?

Sure! Medium-carbon basic steel, no frills. Just enough carbon to be hardenable and remain very tough. Won't hold a fine edge very long but for a $40 'hawk, who cares? I have a couple CS 'hawks in 1055 and they're great yard/garden/camping tools. The majority of machetes and 'hawks all over the world are made of the same, or very similar alloys.

"almost nothing but iron" :D

Hey AC, check the back of your rig, I think there's a package in there for you.

Ya know what sucks, I'm reading all of these "My first Becker" threads, I will never get to experience that again. :(

I took delivery of a brand new sinus infection yesteray. Today I'm staying home to put it through it's paces.
LOL! This sounds the majority of the threads on this SF. You should start a new thread and do a comparison....say, with that bronchial infection you had last year. That'd be different.
I just pee'd a tiny bit laughing so hard at that video. Excuse me while i go change.....
You Canu...dian people are funny. Still way too much information.

There's always the chance for an injury or something that causes memory loss. You could kind of have it again.

:)
