Leaving tomorrow for the Shawnee National Forest. Looking forward to it. Supposed to be 46°, and windy Saturday. Shouldn't be too bad in the trees.

Why ever'bOdy picken' on dey MAIL.men? It seems more a comment about us as the people that use government propped up mail services and actually receive packages 99% of the time they are sent to us....yet still we find reason to piss and moan. I'm happy that the system works....and that it works pretty well. Wait five days for a package? That's actually very reasonable, if not viewed through the lens of instant gratification. But, I digress. YAY for the 4. I was supposed to get one in the mail today, too.:( Did not show up. I can wait.

It just bothers me when our delivery guy can be so lazy that instead of going to our front door he just leaves a card in the letterbox. That is annoying, but there have been problems with delivery a lot lately, ever since they started using freelance contractors to deliver parcels. One of the guys was fired because he would never deliver the packages properly, he would just card everyone. It took six months of complaints to get rid of him, the complaints were that these people were all home at the time and were getting cards saying they weren't.

Happened to me about 14 times last year. I just think if you are going to work for a company you actually do the job you are paid for.
 
I complain about the mail sometimes, but i do get 99% of my stuff so good points.

But sometimes everyone just needs a reason to complain LMAO and the post office is a great target. I had a package leave Chicago on the 2nd and still hasnt updated. That SUCKS!!!

Granite, sorry the 4 didnt make it in time, hopefully tomorrow bud!!
 
I love my local small town PO. Seriously. I used to have a PO phobia, and certainly the NYC PO's I used to deal with reinforced that. But here in the "country"? Oh man, our postal folk are *awesome*.

At least you have a tracking number. I ordered a new bike frame and a few other things about a week ago, It ended up shipping in two orders. Of ours I only got the number for a chain and a few bearings. A worker at the company said he'd email me a tracking number. Of course I never got that. I guess I get to wait for a while now...
 
So i have been thinking of taking some classes, And mostly looking into Botany type courses... But then i started thinking.... If i want to take college classes i will have to take some sort of SAT test huh? and i dont think i will do so good at that!!
 
My guess is there are certain courses that require SAT tests or maybe just a subject test (a test for one specific subject)... I have no professional experience with this, but that's just my guess

Well, if you do, give me a holler a bit in advance and I can talk you through some techniques and stuff. I'm taking the January SAT with my students to stay current.
 
Will do Crimson, Im going to talk to the VA in a couple weeks and find out what ill need to get the GI bill started and basically to get information, but as soon as i know more ill holler at you!! Thanks man.

Well just got back from picking up my BK4 and 11, first impressions are very favourable, gonna put the 4 to use tomorrow, off to clean the fish tank in a minute.

And I have no problem with our local post office or postie (mailman) , they are both great, it's the contractors who are giving Australia Post a bad name by not doing their jobs properly. Oh well, happy now anyway, got me some new Beckers :D

Received a Birudashi from Daizee today. First thoughts were my oh my this thing is a laser. I believe it will be going with me pretty much everywhere. I gave the bottle opener some testing tonight on a few bottle of one of my favorite beers. They made a great combo.
