Yup, time to get crackin. Whats everyone doing today? Its my day off. I get to mow the lawn and do some more job hunting. I pretty much have a job lined up working for a farmer that a friend works fulltime for. Theres a few other places I want to check out first tho. I heard that a few construction companies that are building up the dike that protects us from the mighty Devils Lake are hiring. I guess they just started on a federal contract and are paying $32/hr. I would be pretty dumb if I didn't try for that.

On the news this morning they were interviewing spectators that left that game at the 5th inning because of the heat.

It sure is - Galaxy Nexus with only 5 megapixels.

As for the heat, we spent about an inning outside and the rest of the time in the Jim Beam Lounge behind our seats enjoying the A/C and refreshments and to some extent, the game too.

Today should be a good day. I'm picking up my cap & gown for graduation next week, I'm expecting a new blade in the mail, and it looks like it's going to be under 90 degrees again today!

I'm in a helluva good mood...

Just finished watching part 2 of the Amazon hike. That was an incredible feat. Thanks for posting that up tw, really enjoyed it.

Hey guys, what do you think? I decided to mod my Mini-Grip instead of replacing the blade. It's the first real metal work I've done, other than stripping, etching, etc...

This is two pounds of chopping insanity. If your pack weight can stand it, skip the axe and go this route. Crazy chopper. My search is over.
 
99ish on porch, not quite noon... 20 degree differential from inside, due to closed blinds. nice.

Forecast for 71 here today. Hopefully everyone that lives where its been so dang hot lately is able to stay cool.
 
Joe nailed it on this one. The factory grind is the best I've seen from Condor. Look out for those boys. Big comfy handle too.

I had the blade on for the grinding and putting the edge on. I sanded the flats with it off, just because it was easier to get that curve near the pivot that way.


That warlock is awesome, Trade! Did you modify the grind or just leave it as you got it?
