that looks damn near impossible!

All the knives in this thread are exactly the type of blades I love !!! I wish i had enough money to get them all !

I would have to go with a James Wood bowie he built for me, with a Rapidboy sheath.

James is a young man, making knives in England, and this may have been his first large bowie project.
It was my first fully commissioned piece also, nice knife with silver steel and kurly koa handle!

It's a tough piece of gear.

this is the best page I have seen on here sofar. I think its worth me taking the time to check out all of the makers sites, because I know work like this isn't easy to come by.

Now that looks like a fast bowie. What are the dimensions?

Jason sold it to someone local

He carried it for a bit. I will see if he took a pic :)

I'd love a good custom kukhri. Or maybe whatever Jimmy Fikes would come up with when asked to make something in that spirit, a one-handed chopper.

Here are a few others that would be just great to have on the hip for these occasions.

Harald Moeller Bearclaw -- the markings on the blade are morse code and also code used in rock placement for reading by friendly aircraft. Oh, and the saw teeth are properly ground to actually work as a saw.

these would be great to grab as made by Tom Ferry but unfortunately they never had leather made for either which are both wickedly sharp and would be great for defense/offense or just having the ability to cut that nice steak that Joe would prepare from his kill.

and just to keep up with the "Joneses" lets consider this Jerry Fisk Damascus Bowie

and having pried this piece from the "cold dead hands" of Stuart Branson one more piece of savagery is now available -- well it has been for some time

Yours and the 5th are above and beyond

Man, I don't have anything custom for the end of days.

But, since it is such a cool thread, I do have to throw in my last dance tool:

Since it is well over 100 years old, can be wielded with 2 hands and is over 12 inches long, I will pretend it fits in this thread.
