Only just seen this! What an excellent knife Jeff, I like Weidmannsheils they do an unusual pattern, and well.

Very nice fish-like opener you show there s-k. Looks like it's opened a tidy few bottles in its time Do you think it's pre WW2? Practical and amusing item, didn't realize Schweppes made ciders though Artistic licence perhaps...

Thanks for your comments Will. I think these knives date from the 1920s. Schweppes made cider at this time.

It's hard for me to believe, but I think this is the only job I've ever given my Rough Rider scout knife so far; that doesn't seem fair especially since the knife handled the job so expertly!
