It's time to scratch that itch again - BEEFY KNIVES. SUGGEST 'EM. POST PICTURES.

Alright, I've put a bunch of stuff up FSOT in an attempt to get my greasy mitts on these knives.

  • ADV Butcher mid-tech
  • Boker Vox F3
  • Grayman Dua
  • Strider SMF
  • Benchmade 760LFTi
  • Spyderco Vallotton
  • Cold Steel Rajah II (The new BD-1 version)

We'll see if there are any biters. I've sold a few already! Maybe someone will trade me something super rad. In the mean-time, PLEASE keep the suggestions coming. I've already learned of a couple knives I never knew of, and am a little anxious to discover more!

You'll like the Rajah 2. I like mine so much I have a 2nd one arriving tomorrow and I will be carrying both.

Oh, man, I already know I'll like it... I would have ordered one two years ago if it hadn't been for the bead-blast finish. Now that they're stonewashed AND with a slightly better steel, there's a high chance I'll have one in my hands before Saturday.

Reate District 9. I've seen 'em with 2 different clip types, though both tip-up, and comes in a tanto (B-version) or drop (A-version).

Right below $200, S35V, titanium frame lock. Plus, they look cool as heck!

Next on my short list.

The strider is a great suggestion...

Additionally I recommend the Dervish Navajo midtech....it's been my edc for a good few months now and it is beefy! Mine has taken some abuse and seems to be eating it up....4" of cpm-154...I trust it to take as much abuse as a Strider.

The lionsteel TiSpine seems like a pretty great choice. I imagine an integral ti framlock is pretty strong!

Gotta agree with asdf. My BM Adamas 275 has seen things. I'm pretty sure it's also a beefed-up axis lock, stronger than most others. Check out the lock bar and other stuff, you can physically see that it's larger diameter than other like the Contego, Rukus, etc... Also, Grayman Satu is pretty sweet. Can't go wrong with Strider.

Out of all my beefed knives, I'd choose my BM 275 most days. Strider on the off day.

unknown to many (even those with a hole in their heads... i mean their blades) the spyderco superleaf is one of the beefiest folders around. from an older review on the thing:

look how thick those full liners are and those pillars!

I will second, or is it third :) the Microtech DOC. I have the DOC Killswitch, and hope to order the flipper soon, gotta save up ya know
I've heard mixed reviews on the flippers, but..what can I say..it's Microtech

Buck/Strider 880SP. Doesn't get any beefier than this. The 1st production run was even thicker (titanium liners and scales) than the subsequent production runs. I don't have the knife on me to measure the blade thickness with calipers, but I want to say it was 4.5mm or 5mm thick. Carries well for such a big knife. Mine is smooth as butter with an early lockup. They pop up for sale once in a while.

I've had several 880...

While we're at it, check out the Strider AR....those are monsters and about as tough of a knife as you'll find.

In reality the Spyderco Manix 2 (either size) is about as beefy as I need:

I was going to suggest the Manix twins as well.
They are pretty stout, full flat grinds, sturdy (perhaps read as "heavy") frames.
I like my zt's just fine, but I really do enjoy carrying my Manix 2
