I've been Rupled again!!

That's a BIG trapper at 4 7/8"! File-worked too I see; Nice one!
Here's the second Harness Jack. The third was auctioned at Oregon. I added a pic of his near flawless filework. He stopped at the spring area, because it doesn't work on the punch.

Those are some awsome examples of Bills work!! Fortunately for me I will get a first hand look at some Ruple beauties, and I am sure a nice long visit with Bill very soon at the Central Texas knife show in Austin.
I am also looking forward to seeing what Don Morrow has.
Not to mention I heard a rumor that Johnny Stout is making some slip joints now.

Some of the nicest and most diverse I've ever seen. WOW!!!

Does it take more than an E ticket (old Disneyland reference) to get in the secret place???

Jealous Lobo

Nice pics Waynorth! Here's a little 4 1/4 inch single blade. More than an E ticket? Nah, just gotta take an oath and do some stuff.

Picked up two from Don in Atlanta and ordered Stout's second "Peanut". (Danbo got the first. Bastid!;) )

From the inner sanctuary of "Rupledom" comes a 5 blade sowbelly. If you are learning to make knives from Ruple, does that make you a Ruple Pupil?

Sowbelly,, son on this light tackle, you have now touched my heart..

Aw roachy, ya gotta post us some Pictures!!!!!

Uncle, mckgreg, that's all I've got! But keep them coming. This thread is a great review of Bill's work! And you have a heck of collection.
Got any from Terry Davis?
We should do this for all the makers of slippies!

Man, you guys must either be independently wealthy or you don't have to answer to a wife! I'd love to get a Ruple!

I couldn't afford any 'till the 3 kids left and started working!
Now my wife makes as much as I do!!
I'd still rather be young and knifeless (sometimes) ;) :D

Just to make sure none of us are knifeless, here's another one. If anyone has pics of your Ruples that you want me to post for you, just send them to me.

I am trying to take adequate pics of my Ruples--and I just can't get it right.

It is really true--Ruples is a dangerous disease. I don't know if it can be cured, only temporarily suppressed by Ruplelization. This is an expensive procedure not covered by my health-care plan. Wouldn't it be great if all we had was a $25 co-pay for each Ruplelization?:D

Unlike most diseases, this one can be spread over the internet, as this thread is doing. I am beginning to feel an onset of Ruples just from looking at these pics....:D

Shaldag. You can send me your pics and I will see what Photoshop and my feeble ability to use the program can do for them and post 'em for ya.
Greg

Thanks Jerry. Waynorth. I don't have any of Terry's knives but I welcome any photos of them. Or other makers as well. Go for it!
Greg

Okay, I'd kick Angalina Jolie and Catherine Zita Jones to the curb for that 4 1/4 inch single blade. That is a pretty piece of lithe loveliness.

And all the wolfies said, "AAAAAHHHWWOOOOOOOOO!"

I think I'll start a new thread to make it easier to read, Greg, and everyone.
"Traditional yet custom" coming up,
Charlie
