Izula folder

Put a Spyderco hole on it please. Better for gloved hands than a thumb-stud IMO, unless the stud is wider than the handle.

They could make two blade models (like Griptilians) one with a Spyder hole and another one with studs....

I'm assuming that this is something that has already been taken into consideration; but I believe that it would be a real plus if this knife could be taken down easily for cleaning- being that is intended for outdoors use and all.

Man, I've been gone for too long. An Izula folder?!

I remember Jeff grumpily stating that the only RAT folder likely to be seen was an RC4 with a hing, bolted on the blade. :p

Looks like I'm locked in for another RAT knife.:D

On a serious note, thanks a lot Jeff. I love my Izula but it doesn't see a lot of pocket time due to my location and lifestyle. The Izula folder looks like it may become one of my favorite, if not my preferred, EDC knife.

You won't be able to make enough of those to keep up with initial demand...that folder will be popular for sure!!

what? should have checked the site more often :) I have an izula and ordered two more on e-bay last week. Now that I have 3 fixed izula's, I'll be forced to buy three folders later this year :D
Just new to the forum, but a great place to be!

I actually agree! RAT better produce a whole lot of those, and in a fast tempo. I see myself buying at least one Izula folder, right as soon as it comes out. Then I'll need to buy one for my dad, friends and relatives. That's already a whole lotta knives, in a short period of time. And then I'll shop for some backups :p

I agree with mp510, sometimes having to gut deer in the field to make dragging easier it would be a plus to be able to take down for quick easy cleaning.

This is the first time I noticed this thread.
The Izula folder is one pretty looking knife!

But.... I'm still saving up for a Rc3 first :D

I was just cruzin around the Rat Web site and caught the Izula Folder. I gotta get out of the house more. I have been so happy with my Izula with the Phillip Dobson handles that I can't wait to pick up this folder.

Great Idea! Kudos to whomever came up with it.

Late this year eh............I predict this knife will take the market by storm if the price is kept in line with other Rat products.

Bill

That's definitely going on my wishlist! And the framelock, a perfect choice for a RAT folder, wouldnt have it any other way.

Well looks like I already got another knife I gotta buy after I get my Fixed Blade HEST. Man Im gonna use the $h1t out of this folder. I hope this comes out soon.
