Izula folder

If only it had a hole :D

Thin blade would be nice, I agree.

I'd prefer a lock back to a Reeve lock, but since it comes in lefty format I'm happy.

If only it had a hole :D

Just thinking out loud here since it is technically in development (I think?)

What if it did have a hole/hole-ish (like on the Bladetech Hunter folders) or disk opener instead of a peg? Pegs or studs tend to get in the way of freehand sharpening (like on an ordinary flat kitchen stone or in the the field).

Whatever the design outcome would be though, it's still  A sweet design for an EDC!

My brother and I co-own an electrical contracting business that was started by our father 30 years ago. He taught us all about customer service.

You do what's right, no matter what. You tell the customer the truth, and you fix whatever problem there might be and you create customers for life.

We still have customers that our father picked up 30 years ago.

I haven't had to use RAT's customer service dept, but I KNOW that they will be there for me when or if I need it. They created a customer for life in me.

Interesting.. I sure hope RAT cutlery and Rowen Manufacturing outlives me.

I will buy one for all my pals, my wife, co-workers, clients, and then one for me.

This is a wonderful design so far. I cannot wait to get my hands on one.

Good on you RAT.

Don't know how I missed this thread. I like! There will be one in my pocket a few days after release! Nice job to all involved...

Very nice, I can't wait to see this one come to life.

Gotta get me one (or more)! I know several people who are going to get them as gifts next Christmas as well. That's a damn fine looking folder. I can't wait.

Thanks for putting out such useful and beautiful knives.

Put a Spyderco hole on it please. Better for gloved hands than a thumb-stud IMO, unless the stud is wider than the handle.

The design looks really nice. I also agree that a hole type opener would make more sense, as it is more friendly for gloved work and more reliable when opening than a stud. I think it would look really nice with a rounded rectangle type hole similar to what Mayo uses on his knives.
