Izula-II....here it is.

I just got another of the regular Izulas last week. Darn. Had I only known !!
Oh well, now gonna give 'em to the kids to play with :eek: and I'll get these newer, longer ones !

Man , I'm totally parked. Everytime Jeff and the boys ( and girls) pull a new rabbit out of the hole. I gotta have it. Correction : we all gotta have it !!

I noticed right away the framework for the Izula 2 is a lot thicker than the original. Kewl. I like thick.

But the original fit my hand perfectly, so I'm glad they aren't being discontinued. I DO wish the scales fit the old one like these, but I can live with that anyway. So, KUDOS to a job well done, but thank you SO MUCH that the old ones aren't being discontinued, at least not yet. I'll have time to stock up on a few more.
 
Those look very nice. I love the full scales and the extra handle length is an added bonus. Should I hold my breath for the stainless version Jeff?
 
honestly I am speechless, when it came time to give my son the best knife i knew of to learn with, I gave him an Izula. I have already replaced that one for myself. And here we are with another version of the same, with a little of what i may have wanted from the first. I guess I will be getting this one now. Where is it?
 
I definitely like the look of it without the handles, but the handles will have to grow on me. The increased length and thicker frame will make it a much more versitile knife.
 
not bad, but i still like the first one better, good thing its not discontinued, i see it as the perfect shaped small survival knife :D
anyway, you are full of surprises ..good surprises
 
For myself, I'd still prefer the Izula 1 - but my husband and his bear paws will prefer the Izula 2.
 
Just a thought will the larger handle scales fit on the new ESKABAR? If so I have that same question can you order the scales separately. But don't worry I want the Izulla -II and the ESKABAR. But if the IZ-II scales fit both that would be awesome.

The BK14 has almost the same handle as the Izula. The Izula scales will fit the BK14 handle, with some minor modifications.

The Izula II has a handle thats ½ inch longer than the Izula/BK14, thus it seems logical that its scales wont fit the others.

Me too. They are amazing. He is one hell of an artist.


Funny too, when people automatically start asking for comparison shots and real world photos...and the knives are not even made yet! :D
