Jack Wolf Knives - The Wolf Den

These are great! Notably the flush back springs. While I have some of the other “Modern Traditionals” my small gripe was the rounded non-flush back springs. A cosmetic gripe at best, but a difference maker in my eyes. The Micarta looks nice on these also. Good work.

Thanks Sam. This was a big deal for me. Flush in 3 positions or as damn close as they can get it.

- forgive me if I've missed it elsewhere, but the cutting edge is 3" and under...? Perhaps more on some..?

Pull - between 0 ~ 10...?

All of them have a 3" or less cutting edge. I think only one has a blade that is 3.1" from the top of the bolster to the tip, so I can't imagine it would cause you too much trouble. That K-9 is 2.9" from top of bolster to tip. Pulls are, I would say a 6. Debating on what tweaking they may need. I like them heavy but I have to consider the broader market. Going to get feedback on pulls from everyone at Blade Show.

A pull of 6 sounds perfect.

Man... Those contoured, integral bolsters are a HUGE selling point for me. These are looking really nice.

I’ve said it before in this thread, but I think the construction makes for the perfect platform to swap the scales. Assuming these are successful (and it’s sounding like they will be), I think an offering of replacement scales in exotic woods for these would be really, really cool. I’d buy several sets personally. Or who knows, maybe a maker will see a niche to be filled and do it. :)

I have no doubts that out of the several guys who do awesome recovers, someone will be up to the task!

Here is the Little Bro Jack slip joint knife prototype in Black Canvas Micarta 🗡. This boy’s knife pattern features a hollow ground m390 blade, fluted integral titanium bolsters, a 2.67” blade and is 3.5” closed. Featured at the ‘21 Blade Show table 16C 🔥.

That's the one that caught my attention. 🤠

I’m curious about the thickness of the liners. They feel disproportionately thick, while the Micarta seems almost paper thin at the edges. Just looks a bit odd to me.

Bingo; a clip blade to my liking
