Thanks! Closed to half is a 6, half to open is a 7. I think the radii on the tang corners needs a small reduction, to get it to snap closed sooner. I really want these to be perfect before I sell them. I am 100% satisfied with the fit, finish and blade grinds. It is truly excellent.Looks great Benjamin. I like the fluted bolster and the flush backspring and liners, both are nice touches. What would you say the pull is?
I don't know the answer to that, but if I was a guessing man I would say they are buying slabs of it from a manufacturer.Hey Ben those look fantastic...tell me..does Reate make the micarta or is that outsourced ?
Cheers and all the best for the show..
I LOVE the Dino. I wouldn't feel right about doing it without asking permission from Romano as I think that is his baby? I have a Mini Dino from him and it is outrageously excellent. That looks great! I think a Dino pattern should be considered for your next pattern addition, they are not common and would set you apart.
Paul, thank you sir! I am committing to sectioning off some inventory to the UK & German enthusiasts. I have some figuring out to do as far as the logistics, but it's possible so I will make it happen. I just hope I can get enough over there to satisfy everyone. These look very nice indeed, Ben - congratulations.
I'd have sent you a pm but my conversation facility is playing up, have sought tech assistance.
I run the only knife forum in UK. Besides most these knives meeting our 'legal to carry' regulations, think they'd go down very well in UK. Is there a way you'd be able to get some to us without having to trek to USA, then over here, to save costs etc..? Look forward to hearing from you.
Yes sir, I have those protos as well and they will bed displayed in the coming few weeks. Stay tuned!Any chance we can see the k9?
Coming soon!! As within the next 3 weeks soon!View attachment 1565645
I've made no secret in having an interest in the Low Drag Jack, can't wait to see the prototype pics of it![]()
Hi Ed, I will ask the manufacturer as I do not have the specification. Are the Torx heads on those screws Metric or American Standard ? Threads too?
First post mentions manufacture and country of origin.Looks nice, like Lion Steel. Why no country of origin?
