Many thanks Charlie, you seem quite smitten with that ViperThat Speaker is a great pattern!! You were/are indeed lucky today, Jack!!
There is something about a Congress, or a Swayback Jack! They are comfortable to use, and present the blade to you, ready to do their work!! I just happen to have this one in my pocket, and there it will stay for the day!! Happenstance??View attachment 1570352View attachment 1570353
Sometimes it feels odd for me, liking a "modern traditional", but no doubt, it's a great knife!!Charlie, you seem quite smitten with that Viper
A bit of history there Jer!Probably my first rehandle job, probably from the 1970s. It rose this morning to my plunging gull beak fist form.

LOL!I like that- next week must be regarded as very important, because Hitler is going to invade.
This is the best of five pictures, believe it or not.

I knew I had one of these in brass and wood, but was surtprised to find these two delrins while looking for a light, slim, summer carry.
Thanks for joining in the fun CharlieThanks for this creative thread,Jack Black !!
In keeping with the OP's intention of this thread, I opened a drawer and poked my finger into it to choose a knife to carry today!! A bunch of oldies I seldom pay attention to these days yielded this Winchester Toothpick #1924, a pattern I seldom think to carry!
Winchester competed with Remington between the Wars, but was overshadowed by that powerhouse, both of them in Connecticut!!
But Winchester made a beautiful knife!! This one has survived the years with little wear, and is a pleasure to handle!! Might have to stick with it until next Tuesday!!
Love the one you're with!!View attachment 1578931View attachment 1578932View attachment 1578933View attachment 1578934
My pleasure, Jack!!Thanks for joining in the fun Charlie
