Thank you. I think that's a great line. I found it while re-researching who played the Great Tyrant with a voice like Joan Greenwood. (Anita Pallenberg.)Cool JerAs is that new addition to your sig line!

On a tenuously related note, too bad Roger Vadim and/or John Derek never offered a course on Svengaliism.
It probably wouldn't work, the Svengali course. I'm reminded of Jon Byner's trying an Elvis-style cocked lip to approach a woman at a party. She handed him a kleenex.Anita Pallenberg is great in that role![]()

I follow this thread every week, but have always had a hard time swapping out my favourite EDC. However, View attachment 1554121 I decided today to put my Case jack on the shelf and try something new for a change. Picked this one, kind of at random, from my junker pile. It was Camillus four blade utility that I cut down to two blades and put some acrylic handles on.
Thanks Jack. A local woodworking store sells blanks for turning fountain pens. I slice them up and use them for handles.

I had one of those and gave it away, Jack!! Nice pocketable knife!!
If I was younger, I might have kept it!!
Feeling defiant today after grabbing this SAK off the piano on my way out the door!!View attachment 1554182
Did you assemble that out of a random set of parts? Well done!I randomly found this yesterday while looking for something else. I's forgotten all about it.

The coping blade is from a Tenn-e grab bag of Camillus parts. It was stamped but not ground, still rectangular in section. I'm not sure about the clip blade because it doesn't look Camillusish to me, but it was new (,ground, and polished,) wherever it was from. It didn't go with this handle, because the blade-stop is too deep for the spring. And I don't know where the handle is from or what blades, if any, were in it.

It's typical of my fit and finish, but it works.
Yes, a whole 'nother dimension of randomness.Did you assemble that out of a random set of parts? Well done!![]()
