Jack's Random Tuesday Carry

That's one I almost bought.^
The better of two shots:

They were both clearly perfect, so why go on.
Midsize Western.
It's nicer than I remembered.
I have passed on a lot of the forum knives, for various reasons. My main reasons for buying that one were that I liked the way the process was run, I had participated in the votes, and I liked the way the guy who facilitated it conducted himself. I like the knife, but if I had simply been offered a 2-blade Jack, with opposing blades, in stainless, I'd have passed :D

Lucky pick for me today, as this old Carl Schlieper is one of my favourite knives :) I often take it out hiking with me, but as I haven't done much hiking since early summer, it hasn't had any exercise in a while :( Duncan Campbellclanman Campbellclanman gave me the knife, in Sheffield, the best part of a decade back now, and it's a knife I always enjoying carrying, and using :)

I'm awed by the craftsmanship back then.👍

Tang stamps coming.

I found this in a small paper bag the organizing principle of which is a mystery.
(The big tang says "aerial".)
Looks interesting Jer, well done on capturing that tang stamp!

I completely forgot it was Tuesday, but I'll go and do a random pick now! :D

:D
It's a bit of a trick reaching the main pull, and it's a bit of a trick to file down the pen tang, but it might be worth it. If I don't have a flat-sided jeweller's file I can tape one.
