I just do not see why anyone bothers to make or buy a three-blader without one straight edge.
I guess the entire history of cutlery manufacture isn't all about me.
I might replace the handles, though. A single layer of veneer might do it, and I have a soft spot for through-pinned Imperials.

Schrade 197UH, a single blade version of the 897 medium stockman, with brass liner lock. I always have liked the thin elegant clip blade. Found out it's short and thin enough to fit in Sharp & Fiery's Bunny Knife pocket slip. Is that sacrilegious? Just kidding.

But I would be making it shorter.
Maybe I'll embrace the spiritual discipline of accepting it as it is and saving myself the effort.

This is getting to be an old friend. I bought it right after Mom died 3.5 years ago.

My internet might be back for real now. There was an ATT truck out there.
I have Spectrum internet now, but they affect each other. When we put in the ATT internet in 2014, the guy had to replace some archaic stuff at the house and a couple of poles out, then he came back and said he'd gone as far as he was authorized and he had to call the phone company. That sounded pretty odd to an American of Lily Tomlin/ President's Analyst vintage. AT&T calling The Phone Company?
