Jason Guthrie Customs - South Africa

Wow. These are fantastic! I absolutely love the belt finish on the blade and the reverse thumb ramp for draw cuts is genius!

That Mustang looks amazing! Love how the engraving is there behind the flipper tab as well as the spine.

Some seriously great looking knives in here, both design, and from what I see, finish. I like the look of hand rubbed blades as much as anyone, but honestly prefer a belt satin finish so I don't worry so much about scratching a nice rubbed finish

Appreciate it man!
Thanks for the feedback.....

I'm confused. Why does the belt finish look bad exactly? Sure, polished blade takes more time and skill to finish but is that the definition of good knife? I would never buy knife that I would just stash away to the safe, and hence, I prefer to leave mirror finished knives out. Satin and "rougher" finished blades take the scratches better and don't show the smudge.

Good looking knives too, beautiful designs. I don't know why so many people seem to get so a*al about this. Looks almost as if some BF members are on defensive mode or something. Jeez!

A knife, as a finish is nice if it is well done...those knives are well done regardless the direction of the scratch patterns

Awesome photos of awesome knives Jason!!!

Thanks Francois!
