Which thickness would suit you best? I only have some precut pieces and it may be hard to hit 20lbs exactly, I use to have small pieces to fill out the box, but those are gone now. I will do my best to get close by changing out pieces. But I need to know what you want the most of, 3/4'' or 1 1/2''??

I just received the G11 and it looks great.

I just have one question. Is this material strong enough to use if I cut slabs off of the 1.5" face for handle scales? In some of the pics it looks like the 'end grain' of the fiberglass is showing so I'm assuming this is what has been done.
 
James, I know you wanted a pic of a knife with the G11, Well, I'm not sure if this qualifies but it is your G11 stacked with neoprene in between. I should have some with G11 scales soon as I cut a bunch up on the weekend.

Still waiting on the second box, should be any day.

a 20lbs box for me is okay.
Most 3/4" slabs and a couple or three bigger blocks.
