JK Fantasy Football sign up thread

Just because it's xmas I only followed the 4th quarter and overtime, I'm so glad I didn't check the box score throughout the game, or I would have become a true grinch. I'm still not ok with my decision to start woodhead though. I might have to throw in Lockett at flex hoping for upside. We'll see.

Happy holidays everyone!

and once again, I leave a 20plus performer on my bench...

I wish theyd rescheduke christmas so it didnt interfer with my fantasy football season 😀lol

Well, it was fun while it lasted...

I'm pretty sure the fix was in... AGAIN!

Congrats to Chris and his AArdvarks! (He beat me twice!)

last round up is on it's way, sorry guys, whole family spent the night at the mother in alws and only just got back

It’s all over, no more wavier wire claims, no more line- up decisions, no more waiting to see if Jackhammer can turn it around, of Peyton Manning will play another snap, if the San Jose Management change can clinch the full time job for next season, no more football…well except for week 17 and the playoffs, the superbowl, stuff like that…I guess what I’m saying is no more football that matters.

The Kentucky Aardvarks, able to keep their win streak alive, have taken over possession of the championship title and crown.

Please set up your order with John, we have a cool 200 dollars for it so make it a good one, I’ll transfer the money to him when he says it’s time.

As for the other “winning losers” well, I’m afraid I took the consolation bracket so I guess I’ll buy myself a knife, yay, also randy Sandino (Texas Pugs) as far as I can figure won the losers bracket, so send me your address for a prize.

Final Standings:
1. Kentucky Aardvarks
2. MX Thunderballs
3. English Muffins
4. Stoney Jabronies
5. San jose, Belduques
6. The Honey Badgers
7. Texas Pugs
8. Sanchez Butt Fumblers
9. Bush Did Deflate Gate
10. Jackhammer

Thanks to everyone, the fact so many good teams aren’t higher I think is a testament to how competitive the league was.

Things to think about for next year, let’s have any thoughts or suggestions if only to kill some more time before, as has been well said, we have to give in to vacuum Fantasy football will no doubt leave in our lives, lol:
1. Should we have a formal winners trophy?
2. Should we have a losers trpophy/forfit?
3. Should we keep the ppr scoring?
4. Will we be blessed to have Andy back as commissioner and save us all from my tyranny?
5. Any other suggestions or tweaks

Congratulations to Chris Adkins I hope you are willing to come back and defend said crowd next year, and that everyone else is willing to come back and fight for it. It’s been a very competitive and fun league for me as I hope it was everyone else.

Well, on to the last round up.

The Final
MX Thunderballs (109) Vs Kentucky Aardvarks (143)
The Aardvarks survived another disappointing week from thesseahawks who posted an egg, for a while it looked like Russell wilson had cooled off in the final week of the championship as well but he came back to post better numbers though Brees on the ‘Varks bench was better. It didn’t matter however as 2013 D.Thomas failed to show up for the Thunderballs and only managed 2 points so the contest was all but over on Sunday night. The latish break out of Jordan Reed and the continued good work by Aiken helped the ‘varks a lot as did the dolid day from Todd Gurley and D.Murray. The lineup’s in the final say a lot about how this cooky season went with key waiver wire pickups and unlikey stars dot both rosters. Of course the 9- year TD reception for Allen Robinson helped out considerably as well. Unfortunately it was the all-around studs like A. brown and G.Olsen that failed to show up for the Thunderballs. All in all a championship worth of the league I’d say. Good guy guys, and congratulations to the Aardvarks.

Consolation bracket
English Muffins (160) Vs Stoney Jabronies (88)
Thanks for showing up E.Lacy, just in time as well  28 points from the cardinals D as they beat up on the struggling Packers helped out with the stat sheet. The Jabronies were just ready to go home as they also suffered a poor performance from one of their studs thanks to Pittsburg’s struggles.

The Honey Badgers (87) Vs San jose (96)
Rothlisberger melted down against Baltimore in fantasy and real football terms leaving the Badgers out in the cold while the San Jose enjoyed a nice late round surge, even if their starters couldn’t beat their bench.

Losers bracket
Texas pugs (163) Vs Sanchez butt Fumblers (93)
The pugs put up the weekly high score while playing ryan griffin at TE…and he was as bad as he is unknown so that about tells you about the rest of the roster, no less then 3 30 point games ! The fumblers had one 30 point game in the form of Kirk Cousins (race you to draft him next year, right?) but only managed one other double digit game form the Rams D.

Jackhammer (92) Vs Bush Did Deflatgate (118)
Doug Baldwin (another race? You know some lucky teams going to draft Doug Baldwin and kirk cousins next year) continued his string of great fantasy days and Adrian Peterson nearly managed to catch up…it’s been a weird year. Jackhammer had the star, IMO, of the last half of the season in their roster but once again Tom Brady didn’t put up numbers, if only they hadn’t kicked, am I right R.Jennings also got used for the second straight game as a lead back, just in time…

Well,. I guess that’s al folks, thanks again for playing, now lets start thinking about the new rookie draft it’s only so many months away!

First I'd like to thank God. I'm very blessed that the biggest worry I have in my life is how a WR in Denver performs on Monday Night Football. Second, I want to thank Mr. K for hosting this forum and allowing us to play in his sandbox. And thank you to KYenglish for handling all of the Commish duties and all of my fellow competitors.

It's been a wild season for Aardvark Nation. Starting the season 2-5 there were calls for Coach's head. But we, the owners, had faith in our staff and team (though the choice to draft a defense in the 1st round did seem ridiculous after the fact) and we're proud of our organization and fans. We're looking forward to our Aardvarks stampeding into next season.

"Aardvarks, you just won the JK Forum FFL Championship, where are you going?"
We're going to JK's.

Thank you Peter for being the commissioner we always knew you could be. And thank you for turning down most of my goofy trade offers. Oh, there are rumours of the San Jose, IL Belduques moving to Goofy Ridge, IL ...might even be another name change!
Thanks to all for playing and being fantastic! Even Bush Did Deflategate (hope your in next year RJ)
Can't wait to see Chris's new knife

you sure welcome it was a lot of fun,

fyi i was just handing out the trohies and I realized i never got my championship trophy, i'm fixin that, :p

It was a fun season, even though I fizzled out at the end. Very competitive league this year, thanks to Peter for wrangling everything in!

And congrats to the Aardvarks!

Congrats to the winner! If I'm here next year you guys are welcome to do it again.
