JK Michigan Fall Gathering 2015

As far as I can tell I should be able to make it. Parents weekend at my daughter's school is the week before this.

We can check with Uncle B at the shop gathering.
 
If Jeff can come up with a contest, I've got something really nice for a prize.
 
I'm in. I have the sled dogs ready for this relatively late camping trip.

I am always up for a good competition. I'll have my throwing knives. I also have a new slingshot. There is of course always horse shoes. One way or another we will have some way to compete!

As always, thanks for providing the camping location. It's great with an awesome fire pit and a heated cabin.
 
I have some bad ideas too!

Most skunks caught. Most porcupines tackled. Most fire dives (or best fire dive). Biggest pants wet spot.

Somehow I think these will not be chosen. Although some may happen.

I would like to see side bets. Whatever we chose, we should open up a secondary prize to people who follow the camping trip. They can bet on the contestants. I know that not everyone can attend. This helps them to participate.

JK and JDS1 you guys can set up the rules.
 
We have some Fall weather in Michigan this weekend and it's giving me Gathering thoughts.

Looking forward to cocktails and BS by the fire.

And steaks. :)

Not sure what I'll be drinking, but I plan on getting a bottle of Fireball to pass around the fire.
 
I have flint & steel kits for everyone that attends. I'll also bring a couple of tins to cook up a fresh batch of char cloth.

Does everyone still have their slingshots?
